Data we collect
Identity & access
Identity & access
When you create a Cachd account, the service collects the information needed to authenticate you and keep your sessions active:
- Name and email address from your sign-in provider
- Profile image associated with your linked provider account
- Provider identifiers that uniquely identify your account at the identity provider (e.g., your Google account ID)
- Session records used to keep you authenticated across devices and browser tabs
Library content
Library content
Everything you save, import, organize, or annotate inside Cachd is stored as library content:
- Imported links — URLs, titles, and descriptions from bookmarks or browser imports
- Captions and notes — any annotations you write for saved items
- Thumbnails — preview images associated with imported content
- Source identifiers — external item IDs that link a saved item back to its origin
- Timestamps — when items were originally saved and when they were imported into Cachd
- Collection metadata — the names, descriptions, and structure of your collections
- Public share data — if you enable a public share link for a collection, Cachd stores a share ID and makes the collection name, description, and included items available to anyone with the link
Billing & operations
