What you can connect
Browser Extension
Save any web page directly from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge with a single click. The extension uses a secure, user-scoped ingest token tied to your account.
Social Apps
Import bookmarked tweets from Twitter/X and saved posts and comments from Reddit so nothing gets buried in your social feeds.
Video Platforms
Pull in your YouTube Watch Later queue and liked videos so every video you meant to watch is waiting for you in your Cachd library.
Google Photos
Import images you explicitly select using Google’s read-only photo picker — Cachd only sees the photos you choose to bring in.
Privacy & permissions
Every connection in Cachd uses scoped, read-only permissions. When you authorize a source, Cachd requests only the minimum access required to import the content you choose — it cannot post, delete, or modify anything on your behalf. You stay in control at all times. Here is what that means in practice:- You choose what to share. During the authorization flow, you select which content types Cachd can read. Nothing is imported without your explicit approval.
- Permissions are read-only. Cachd cannot write to, alter, or delete content on any connected platform.
- Disconnect whenever you want. You can remove any connected account at any time from Settings > Connected Accounts. Cachd immediately stops syncing that source, and you can delete previously imported items from your library if you choose.
- Tokens are user-scoped. Your ingest tokens and OAuth grants are tied to your individual Cachd account — they cannot be used by other users or shared across accounts.
Cachd recommends connecting only accounts you trust and carefully reviewing the permissions each connection requests before you authorize it. If something looks unexpected, decline the prompt and contact support@cachd.app.
