Supported sources

Twitter / X

Import your bookmarked tweets and saved posts. Cache reads your Twitter/X bookmarks and adds them to your library so they’re searchable by text, author, or topic.

Reddit

Import your saved posts and comments. Anything you’ve saved across subreddits comes into Cache, organized and ready to search — no more digging through your Reddit profile.

YouTube

Import your Watch Later queue and liked videos. Keep every video you’ve flagged visible in your library so you never lose track of what you meant to watch.

Google Photos

Import images you explicitly select using Google’s read-only photo picker. Cache only sees and imports the photos you actively choose — nothing else in your account is accessed.

Connecting a source

Go to Settings > Connected Accounts

Open Cache and navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then select Connected Accounts. You’ll see a list of all supported platforms.

Find the platform you want to connect

Locate the source you’d like to import from — Twitter/X, Reddit, YouTube, or Google Photos. Each card shows the connection status and what Cache will import.

Click Connect

Click the Connect button on the platform card. Cache redirects you to that platform’s OAuth authorization page.

Review and authorize the permissions prompt

The platform shows you exactly what access Cache is requesting. Cache only asks for read-only access to the specific content types it needs to import — review the listed permissions and click Authorize to proceed.

Choose what to import

After authorizing, Cache may ask you to confirm which content types to import (for example, Watch Later vs. liked videos on YouTube). Select your preferences and confirm.

Wait for the initial import to complete

Your saves will begin appearing in your Cache library within moments. Large libraries may take a few minutes to fully sync — you’ll see a progress indicator on the Connected Accounts page.

Permissions Cache requests

Cache requests the narrowest possible scope for each integration. Here is a summary of what is requested and why: No connection grants Cache the ability to post, delete, or modify content on any platform.

Disconnecting a source

You can remove any connected account at any time:

Open Connected Accounts

Go to Settings > Connected Accounts.

Disconnect the platform

Find the platform you want to disconnect and click Disconnect.

Confirm the prompt

Cache immediately revokes its access and stops syncing that source.
Previously imported items remain in your library unless you choose to delete them. To remove imported content, select the items in your library and choose Delete — or use Select All to clear everything imported from that source at once.
Review each connection’s requested permissions carefully before authorizing. Only connect accounts you trust. You can disconnect any account at any time from Settings > Connected Accounts, but it is good practice to also revoke access directly in the third-party platform’s own security settings to ensure the token is fully invalidated.
