# Cache Quickstart: Build Your Personal Library Fast

> Create your Cache account, sign in with Google, import your existing saves, and install the browser extension — all in about five minutes.

This guide walks you through everything you need to go from zero to a working personal content library. By the end, you'll have a Cache account, your first saves imported, and the browser extension installed so you can capture new content with a single click. The whole process takes about five minutes.

## Set up your account

    Navigate to [https://cachd.app](https://cachd.app) and click **Get Started** or **Sign Up** to begin creating your account.

  <Step title="Sign in with Google">
    Cache uses Google OAuth as its sign-in method. Click **Continue with Google**, select or log in to your Google account, and grant the requested permissions. Your account is created automatically — no separate password needed.

  <Step title="Import your first content">
    Once you're in, the fastest way to populate your library is to bring in content you've already saved elsewhere. You can import browser bookmarks, social saves, and video platform lists. See [Importing Content](/docs/importing-content) for step-by-step instructions for each source.

  <Step title="Explore your Library">
    Your saves appear in a fast, searchable feed in your Library. Use the search bar to find anything instantly — Cache indexes the full text of your saves, including text in images via OCR. Smart Collections will begin organizing your content automatically as your library grows.

  <Step title="Install the browser extension">
    To save new pages with one click going forward, install the Cache browser extension. Once installed, click the Cache icon in your browser toolbar whenever you find something worth keeping. See [Browser Extension](/docs/connections/browser-extension) for installation instructions.
